Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken gizzards
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
Put chicken gizzards in a bowl and cover them with buttermilk
Soak them for 30 minutes
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to a different bowl and mix them together
Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
Take the gizzards out of the buttermilk and let the extra water drain off
Make sure that each gizzard is well covered with the flour mixture
Put the gizzards in the air fryer basket so that they are all in a single layer
Make sure they dont touch
Spray the gizzards with cooking spray just a little to help them brown and get crispy
When you air fry the gizzards at 400F 200C, flip them over halfway through the cooking time, and keep cooking until they are golden brown and crispy
Popcorn chicken gizzards that have been air-fried should be left to cool for a minute before they are served
Place them on a plate and dip them in your favorite sauces
