Air-Fried Popcorn Chicken Gizzards

Air-Fried Popcorn Chicken Gizzards are a delicious and crispy snack or appetizer that you can make in your air fryer. The buttermilk marinade ensures tender and flavorful gizzards, while the seasoned flour coating gives them a perfect crunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken gizzards
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

Put chicken gizzards in a bowl and cover them with buttermilk

Soak them for 30 minutes

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to a different bowl and mix them together

Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Take the gizzards out of the buttermilk and let the extra water drain off

Make sure that each gizzard is well covered with the flour mixture

Put the gizzards in the air fryer basket so that they are all in a single layer

Make sure they dont touch

Spray the gizzards with cooking spray just a little to help them brown and get crispy

When you air fry the gizzards at 400F 200C, flip them over halfway through the cooking time, and keep cooking until they are golden brown and crispy

Popcorn chicken gizzards that have been air-fried should be left to cool for a minute before they are served

Place them on a plate and dip them in your favorite sauces

Peas and Wild Strawberry Salad with Elderflower Vinaigrette

This delightful salad combines the sweetness of wild strawberries with the freshness of peas, all brought together by the unique flavor of elderflower vinaigrette. Its a perfect summer salad that will impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh peas
  • 1 cup wild strawberries
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons elderflower syrup
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put the wild strawberries, red onion, fresh mint leaves, and fresh peas in a large bowl

A second small bowl holds the vinaigrette

To make it, whisk the elderflower syrup, extra-virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper together

Pour the elderflower vinaigrette over the salad, and then gently toss everything together to coat it

On top of the salad, crumble some feta cheese

Put it in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can mix
