Ingredients:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
- 1 package dark chocolate candy coating
- Cake pop sticks
Instructions:
As directed on the package, bake the chocolate cake
After allowing the cake to cool fully, finely crumble it into crumbs using a large bowl
In a bowl safe for the microwave, melt the dark chocolate chips and stir them into the cake crumbs
Incorporate the toffee bits and chocolate frosting into the mixture thoroughly
Shape the mixture into tiny truffle-sized balls and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined
After each truffle ball has a cake pop stick inserted, freeze for one to two hours
In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate candy coating
After evenly coating each frozen cake pop with melted chocolate, put them back on the baking sheet to harden
Optional: Before the chocolate hardens, add a few more toffee bits on top
Before serving, let the chocolate fully solidify
