Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Cooking oil spray for the air fryer
Instructions:
To make the spiced flour mixture, put the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, and cayenne pepper in a bowl
Allow the extra buttermilk to drip off of each chicken thigh as you dip it in it, and then coat it completely with the seasoned flour mixture
Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 375F 190C
Spray a little cooking oil spray on the air fryer basket to keep things from sticking
Make sure the chicken thighs dont touch each other when you put them in the hot air fryer basket
If you want the chicken to be golden brown and crispy, cook it in the air fryer for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping it over halfway through
The internal temperature should reach 165F 74C
The chicken should be left to rest for a few minutes after taking it out of the air fryer before it is served
