Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Put a can of coconut milk in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight
The coconut milk should be cold
Open the can and take out the thick cream that has risen to the top
Leave the watery part behind
There should be about a cup of coconut cream left
Mix the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and well mixed
You can taste the frosting and add more honey, maple syrup, or cocoa powder to make it sweeter or more cocoa-flavored if you like
You can put the healthy chocolate frosting made from coconut cream on top of cupcakes or cakes however you like
You can also put it in the fridge to make it firmer before using it
